THE EBT HEART SCAN
Front Range is one of only 2 centers in Colorado that uses the “electron beam tomography”, or EBT equipment, to determine your cardiac calcium burden, or, the amount of plaque in your heart. EBT heart imaging gives the most accurate and precise picture of where calcium is, if any, in your heart. It is the primary, powerful tool to identify your coronary risk.
VIRTUAL COLONOSCOPY
Virtual colonoscopy is an excellent alternative to conventional colonoscopy. Our advanced workstations create movies and images for the radiologist in either 2D or 3D after a simple inflation of the colon with CO2 gas. No scopes are involved and it requires an easier prep than a conventional or optical colonoscopy. 100% of the colon surface can potentially be visualized noninvasively. That makes this an ideal screening tool.
LUNG SCAN
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States. This scan is highly recommended for finding early lung cancer in people who are over 45, have a past or present history of smoking.
